The Vanderbilt Kennedy Center has a Core grant as a Eunice Kennedy Shriver Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Research Center (P30) from the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development. An important purpose of this grant is to facilitate collaborations among investigators. The Core research support units help accomplish this goal by supporting research, by providing activities that promote interaction, and by attracting new investigators to the field. Four Core units provide research support services to Kennedy Center investigators. Services provided and how to access services are described for each core.

Periodically, Kennedy Center cores organize training in response to investigators' requests and needs. Submit requests to core director or jan.rosemergy@vanderbilt.edu.

User surveys are distributed annually to assess service quality and the match with investigators' needs. A Core Advisory Committee, advisory to the Director, meets twice a year to assess Core services center-wide. Questions? Contact jan.rosemergy@vanderbilt.edu (615) 322-8238.
